Sweet Dreams, Jack-Jack by Meredith Rusu

    Reviewed by Mike Kenny

Inspired by Disney/Pixar’s anticipated Incredibles 2, Sweet Dreams, Jack-Jack snuggles up with the youngest of the heroic family as Mr. Incredible attempts to read him bedtime stories to sleep with hilariously unsuccessful results.  Returning to the living room only to continuously find the toddler out of his crib, Jack-Jack’s fascination with a crime movie eventually motivates him to use his own super-powered skills to take on a trash stealing raccoon.  Surprised and giddy by the adorable baby’s seemingly limitless powers, Mr. Incredible struggles to contain his excitement while searching for a way to explain this unexpected development to his wife.  An excellent sidekick to any child’s before bedtime rituals, Meredith Rusu’s Sweet Dreams, Jack-Jack is indeed a sweet and funny mini tale for the adorable, pointy-haired character with gorgeous illustrations from the artistic team of Gurihiru whose talents truly standout in this sleepy time tale.

Available now from Disney Press, Sweet Dreams, Jack-Jack can be purchased via Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and other fine retailers.
